About Scalp Micropigmentation
Over 39% of men suffer from hair loss in the UK, while Around 20% of women over 25 suffer hair loss also.
Hairloss happens for various reasons, such as Alopecia, stress, illness and cancer treatment. Hairloss can be highly distressing for both men and women and have mild to severe psychological consequences.
Many who suffer from hair loss want a solution, some of which have a low success rate or are too expensive for most.
Scalp Micropigmentation is an effective and affordable hair loss solution.
Scalp Micropigmentation (also known as ‘SMP’) is a non-surgical procedure where small dots are applied with micro-needles on the affected areas of the head, each, and every dot looks like a shaved hair follicle.
Thousands of dots are transferred onto the skin and mixed with existing hair where necessary. Dot colour is matched to existing hair colour. Different shades are used to replicate your unique hair shades, density and hair direction.
Once finished, the head looks exactly like a full head of hair that’s been shaved or works with existing hair creating a look of density.
- Thousands of realistic Ink dots are transferred onto affected areas of skin
- The procedure realistically mimics a shaved full head of hair
- The dots are accurately blended with existing hair
- Permanently hides Alopecia & other hairloss conditions
- Hides birthmarks and scars
- Safe procedure
Conditions SMP Works For
Alopecia – Hair falls out in small patches which can group and become noticeable. Alopecia affects both men and women, ranging from small patches to full hair loss. Scalp Micropigmentation covers affected areas with ink dots that look like hair follicles and works with patches, thinning areas and fully bald heads.
Full Or Near Full Hairloss – Advanced stages of balding where most of, or the whole head has become hairless. Scalp micro-pigmentation creates the illusion that you have a full head of hair that’s been shaved.
Crown Balding – The first stage and most common type of balding starts from the back or top of the head. The treatment hides this area so people can’t see the scalp through the thinning hair.
Receding Hairline – Most common in men, although women can suffer too. Receding hairlines are cleverly disguised with SMP. We can recreate your old hairline or design a new one.
Diffused/Thinning Hair – Thinning hair is noticeable for those with long hair. Scalp Micro-pigmentation hides the thinning areas by making the hair look denser. The treatment is applied to affected thinning out areas and blended in with existing hair.
Hair Transplants – Hair transplants can leave scarring, which is successfully hidden with SMP. Scars are shaded with dots to blend in with your hair.
