Nail Aftercare
Looking after your nails properly will help them last longer and keep your natural nails healthy. Avoid picking or peeling your nails, as this can cause your natural nails to become weaker/thinner and damaged. Avoid soaking your nails, and wear gloves when washing up or using cleaning chemicals, and keep your nails hydrated with cuticle oil regularly. Be mindful of using your nails as tools to prevent lifting or breakage. If you notice any lifting or issues, get in touch so we can advise or fix it before it worsens.
Lash Lift & Tint
Enhance your natural lashes with a lash lift and tint, designed to add lift, curl, and depth without
the need for extensions. Shannon tailors each treatment to your lashes, leaving you with a lifted,
darker, and effortlessly defined look that lasts for weeks.
Lash Lift appointments will require a patch test 48 hours before first appointment.

Lash Lift & Tint Aftercare
For the first 24–48 hours, avoid getting your lashes wet, using steam/saunas, or applying eye makeup, as this can affect the lift and tint. After this, keep lashes nourished with a conditioning serum and avoid rubbing or using oil-based products around the eyes to help maintain your results. We also recommend brushing your lashes after washing your face so they dry in shape!
how to book
Appointments are available by booking or walk-in, availability depending. A non-refundable £10
deposit is required to secure your appointment when booking in advance, and this will be deducted
from the final cost of the service.
No refunds will be issued once the service is completed. However, if there is an issue with your
nails within 48-hours of your service, a complementary fix may be provided at the technicians
discretion.
Clients must be 16 years old to receive nail services without a parent/legal guardian present. Proof
of age may be required at the time of your appointment.

What is the difference between Gel, Builder Gel and Acrylics?
Builder gel adds strength and structure to the natural nail which aids growth, and can be used for
short to medium length extensions as well.
Builder gel is more natural and light compared to acrylic, and is more forgiving and flexible on the
nail.
Acrylic is a solid structure, great for those with a more physically demanding or heavier-handed
lifestyle, and is more durable so ideal if you are looking for a longer length.
Gel polish is a long-lasting colour applied to your natural nails, or on top of your builder gel or
acrylics.
How long do nails last?
Most sets last around 3–4 weeks, depending on the growth rate of your natural nails, your lifestyle, and aftercare.
Will it damage my natural nails?
When applied and removed correctly, nail treatments shouldn’t damage your natural nails. Proper aftercare and professional removal are key.
Do I need an infill or a full new set?
We usually recommend 3 infills and then a soak off and new set applied on the 4th appointment. This is to check the natural nail health!
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Arrive with clean nails and avoid cutting your cuticles beforehand. If you have existing product on your nails, let Shannon know when booking.
What if I’m not sure what to book?
No problem! Shannon can guide you on the best option based on your nails, lifestyle, and the look you want.
What if a nail breaks or lifts?
Get in touch as soon as possible. It’s best to fix any issues early to avoid further damage or lifting.
How long does a lash lift and tint last?
Results typically last 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare. As your lashes naturally shed, the lifted effect will gradually soften.
Is a lash lift damaging to your natural lashes?
No, when carried out correctly by a trained technician, a lash lift is safe and does not damage your natural lashes. We always use high-quality products designed to protect lash health.
Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?
Yes, but most clients find they no longer need it. If you do choose to wear mascara, it’s best to wait at least 24 hours after your treatment.
Can I wear contact lenses?
Yes, but you will need to remove them during the treatment for comfort and safety.
Will a lash lift work on short lashes?
Yes, but results vary depending on your natural lash length and condition. A consultation will help determine expected results for your lashes.
